New Updates
  • The Community Center will remain closed until further notice.
  • Grocery stores, gas stations, pharmacies and convenience stores remain open.
  • Visit www.keybiscaynechamber.org to see ‘Key Biscayne Restaurants Deliver,’ a delivery guide created by the Key Biscayne Chamber of Commerce  for residents to enjoy favorite food & beverages at home from our local restaurants. Residents can call or order online for a variety of take-out, delivery, or curbside pickup options.
  • Channel 77 is broadcasting “Matter of Balance” a senior exercise program which airs daily at 8:29 a.m., 9:04 a.m., 9:34 a.m. and 5:39 p.m.
Closures
  • The playground on the Village Green will remain closed until further notice.
  • Curfew will remain in effect from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. and will continue every going forward until further notice.
  • Miami-Dade County ordered the closure of all bars and restaurants for dining in; kitchens can remain open for takeout and delivery only.
Essential Services
  • Police, Fire and Public Works are fully operational.
  • The Building Department is conducting business for existing permits, during regular business hours, by email and phone at onlinepermits@keybiscayne.fl.gov or (305) 365-8916. All services requiring in-person interaction with personnel is suspended until further notice. No drop offs or pick-ups, no notarization of documents and no new permit applications are being accepted at this time. Inspections will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Inspections may be performed by contracted personnel, virtually or postponed.
  • Administrative personnel are working remotely or with staggered shifts and proper social distancing.
  • Part-time employees are performing functions as needed to support the COVID-19 incident response.
Enhanced Services
  • Our local K-8 school is still serving breakfast and hot lunches to children 18 years-old and younger between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Food is limited, based on demand. Please contact the school directly or Todd Hofferberth for more information.
  • We are also providing additional support services to our seniors. Please reach out to Melissa White at KBCF and Todd Hofferberth at KBCC for more information if you need help or want to know how you can help.
  • Information about COVID-19 is changing minute-by-minute. Please do you part to stay informed as we invite you to join the Village in its communication effort by sharing our updates in your channels of distribution and ensuring you are fully connected to the Village.

It is imperative to remember: we cannot gather in groups larger than 10 people, and we must maintain social distancing, 6-foot intervals. We, as one Village, need to flatten the curve of COVID-19, and we are requesting all Key Biscayners and staff do their part.
