Citizen Scientist Project Lecture: The Story of Plastic

Theo Quenee and Coby Barreras are cofounders of Sendit4thesea.  Steven Murillo will aslo be presenting has been with the organization since its beginning.

Sendit4thesea is a student-led non-profit organization based in Miami.

They focus on Plastic Pollution Education through beach cleanups, art, school talks focusing on living sustainably, and sports outreach which also involves providing access to sporting goods for kids in developing communities via donations.

Since June 2019, they have removed 10,230 lbs of garbage from the coastlines through their weekly beach cleanups.
